About Us:
The Ireland Region covers the whole of Northern Ireland and the
Irish Republic. The Region was formed in 1991 and has a great cross
section of cars, generally from 02's and CS's from the 1970's right
through to brand new models. There are a few pre-war models too.
We have many interesting models as well as a number of CS's, M3's,
M5's, M6's, Z1's, 8 Series, 2002 Turbo's, a M Coupe and a Z8 - but
it is just as much about the more down-to-earth cars.
This site is intended to keep members up to date about upcoming
events. Reports and photos of previous events are also listed. We
also have our own forum
where members discuss issues about both the club and their own BMWs.
We need both your support and opinion on future activities (see
calendar). Your opinions would be
appreciated. You can contact us here.
Our
logo designed specifically for the Irish Section, is provided to
all members for their car windows. Club regalia is also available.
We also have frequent group buys where members are able to purchase
common products at discounted rates.
With
a club card, members are entitled to discounts from companies such
as German Swedish & French, Jaymic, Rossiters and Cooks. Some
dealers also provide a 10% discount on parts. We are also developing
a list of BMW contacts (specialists,
parts suppliers, etc.) who will give preferential treatment to BMW
Club members. If you know of someone who would like to become listed
then please fill out the form on the listing
page or contact us.
The
club site provides a central on-line reference for all activities
(and a Forum)
and a bi-monthly award winning magazine - including info on Irish
events and write ups. A newsletter is sent out between magazines
where necessary. Via these routes many experts are accessible for
help.
Members also become part of BMW Clubs Europa (BCE), with subsequent
benefits, including 20% off mobile tradition parts, organised tours
of the BMW factories in Germany, discounts off hotels, travel on
the continent and more. There are well over 100 BMW clubs who "belong"
to BCE and everyone is welcome to attend each others events. So
if there was a group who fancied a meeting with the M Power club
of Deutschland, say at the Nurburgring, then this is possible to
arrange.
